Companion 5.0.0 is out, and I’ve updated my unofficial Docker container to match.

The Home Assistant add-on has also been updated to 5.0.0, so both deployment options are once again aligned on the same version.

As before, these are unofficial builds that I maintain for convenience. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by Bitfocus — they’re simply the containers I use myself and make available for anyone else who finds them useful.
The aim is still the same: keep deployment simple. Pull the container, configure what you need, and get Companion running without having to build or maintain the image yourself.
If you’re already running the container or Home Assistant add-on, update as normal to move to 5.0.0.
Since this is a major Companion release, it’s worth checking the official Companion release notes for any changes that may affect your existing configuration or modules before upgrading.
And, as usual, I’ll continue updating these when new releases come out — and occasionally remember to post about it.
